After years of searching, my high school/college buddies and I have finally found a place that makes fish tacos that most resembles that of the port/beach town of Ensenada. This is a place we visited many times in the past and loved their fish tacos. The service was prompt and friendly, and the fish tacos were excellent. For $4.50 each, we had two fish tacos that filled us up. They also served chips. They also had on the table, a green creamy salsa that had a nice little bite. Try it. They also had a red sweet & spicy sauce, that we will try next time. There was plenty of seating inside along with a nice adjoining outside patio. There was also plenty of free parking right out front. Because of where we all live, we each traveled about 30 miles to get here. We will definitely be going back.

We're back!!! Sister and I use to come here at least 3/4 times a month. We took a few months break from dining out and this evening after asking "what's for dinner?" We both said together " FISH CHURRONES!!" We really do LOVE them and didn't realize how good they are until tasting our first bites again. They have added a new cook "Santiago" and he cooked our churrones perfectly but Jose is still there with his friendly smile and have given Santiago plenty of good advice. I prefer no salt added and he cooked them to perfection. Order them with a cold beer and a shrimp taco completed our dinner. Oscar jr. Was there running the place as smooth as ever. Can we TACO about how delicious the guacamole is? They make fresh guacamole to order. I got the grilled fish and the shrimp pastor. Both was super flavorful and delicious. I really like both their red and green hot sauce. The red is a little sweet spicy and the green is creamy spicy. Both goes great with the tacos. My friend did not like the tuna taco, but otherwise the other choices were good. Not a bad place to stop and eat if you're traveling btw SD and LA. Service was quick. We sat outside in the patio cause the weather was nice.

Miramar is still one of my faves and I always stop by on the way home from the SD/Oceanside area. Their green crema salsa is still THE BEST. I would purchase it if they sold it to take home! lol. I use it on almost everything when we dine-in, the chips, my tacos or burritos, etc. This time we tried the Aguachile Verde Tostada, and while it was good - I think I'll stick to the standard ceviche. I still love their Smoked Tuna anything (taco or burrito) and love their Shrimp Pastor Tacos! They also have agua frescas, love the Jamaica on a hot summer's day. Indoor and outdoor seating available, and plentiful parking in shared plaza lot. Service can be a little slow sometimes. Restrooms were clean.

This was a find- a little hole in the wall! Service was great! We sat outside. We wanted fish tacos and they were "amazing." Mahi Mahi taco was delicious! My husband had the octopus taco "so delicious" and the jalapeño shrimp taco "that left a nice taste and did not burn the lips!" We will be back!

Food (5/5 stars): Miramar Fish Tacos & Beer in Oceanside has some great tacos! I ordered the Mahi Mahi, Garlic Shrimp, and Shrimp Pastor tacos and the Shrimp Pastor was my favorite. You can't go wrong with meat and shrimp in a taco, and the pastor was so flavorful. Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: slightly pricey but worth * Wait Time: we had a pickup order and it was right on time * Service: very good and friendly * Parking: there's a parking lot * Ambiance: it's a nice taco spot!

My favorite fish tacos in North County. Their selection for fish and preparation may be the best in SD County. Love the staff. Always friendly and welcoming. Super chill spot with a bar top you can sit at to grab a frosty beverage and some ceviche. Patio seating is awesome for those summer nights as well.
